  • We take swimmers as young as 5 years old, all the way up to 18!

  • Practices over the summer were 5:30-7:30 Monday - Friday. If our team gains more swimmers, we will adjust practice times accordingly among the different ability levels to accommodate our growing team! Beginner groups would swim 5:30-6:30, intermediate and advanced groups would swim 6:30-8:30.

  • First Child -                          $125.00

    Derry Area Middle School Swimmer - $90.00

    Derry Area High School Swimmer - $ 65.00 (plus 3 hours of volunteer coaching)

  • Fall session starts in September and runs through December, Winter session starts in January and ends in late March. Summer session starts in May, and runs through the end of July.

  • No, Derry Area Aqua Club is a competitive swim team, your child needs to be able to swim two lengths of the pool self sufficiently, be comfortable swimming with their head in the water, floating on their back, etc.

  • Try-outs are usually a week or two before the season starts. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to see when try-outs are scheduled for each session!

  • At least two swim meets are required per session for your swimmer, as well as for parents/guardians to meet volunteering requirements.

  • Practice is not mandatory, however we love to see everyone several times throughout the week to continuously work on better techniques so what we work on in practice really shows at meets!
